Lotus Group to launch four electric models in the next five years.

8月31日，路特斯科技成立暨全球总部动工仪式在湖北武汉正式启动。
未来，路特斯技将百亿布局经开区，并在三电技术、智能驾驶、智能制造等领域加速创新。
路特斯集团CEO冯擎峰表示，未来五年，路特斯科技计划推出四款纯电动车型。
其中包括将在2022年推出一款内部代号为Type132的纯电智能SUV；将在2023推出一款内部代号为Type133的纯电智能四门轿跑；2025年推出内部代号为Type134的纯电智能新物种；2026年推出内部代号为Type135的纯电小跑。

(Wuhan– 31 August 2021) On August 31, the ground-breaking ceremony of Lotus Group global headquarters were officially launched in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

Wuhan Lotus Technology Co.,Ltd. was established in late-2020, with Zhejiang Geely Holding owning a 60% equity in the new company. Wuhan Lotus Technology is responsible for the new headquarters and is currently developing the land with a CNY 3 billion (~RM 1.9 billion) investment.The new headquarters will cover a 186-acre piece of land in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a built-up area of 390,000 square meters.

Feng Qingfeng, CEO of Lotus Group, said that the company plans to launch four electric models in the next five years.

Among them, a pure electric intelligent SUV with internal code name of type 132 will be launched in 2022; A pure electric intelligent four door sedan with internal code of type 133 will be launched in 2023; In 2025, a new pure electric intelligent species with internal code of type 134 will be launched; In 2026, a pure electric sports car.

Apart from the factory, the new Lotus headquarters will also house office buildings, canteens, hostels, experience centres, as well as conference centres. The new Lotus headquarters can accommodate more than 4,000 people.

Ever since Geely acquired a controlling stake in Lotus in 2017, the Hethel-based company has been on an upward trend. First amongst which was the Lotus Emira, the final non-electrified sports car.The company has just completed a financing round, according to people familiar with the matter.

The company was valued at 15 billion yuan ($2.3 billion) in the pre-Series A funding round, one of the people said, asking to not to be identified because the matter is private. Nio Capital, the investment arm of Chinese, U.S.-listed electric-car startup Nio Inc., is part of the investor lineup, the person said.
